Dalkeith Park Tree-Sit Under Eviction Threat!

Nearly three weeks ago, protesters set-up a tree-sit in Dalkeith County Park to protest the creation of a new A68 bypass through the park, an important wildlife habitat and tourist attraction.
Today, authorities cut five trees down before being stopped by protesters.Now the protesters have 48 hours to leave before eviction, and are asking for help.

URGENT! Tree felling has begun at Dalkeith Country Park. This afternoon, the 48 hour warning for eviction was delivered to the protest site at Dalkeith. Protesters in urgent need of support and more people.

Home Office in Glasgow locked down - 3 arrests

Once again the Home Office Immigration offices in Glasgow have been closed down by protesters. Earlier this morning 40 people gathered outside the building and padlocked two of the gates. 3 protestors have been arrested. More details and photos to follow.
