Just like call centre jobs, you can contract out torture to countries where the regulatory regime is more conducive to your needs. A CIA front company is running private flights carrying prisoners for interrogation to wherever, don't ask. The jet they used was back in Glasgow the other day.
AN ANTI-TESCO campaigner and former secretary of Castle Douglas Food Town was dramatically ejected from the organisation’s AGM on Wednesday night.
Alastair Livingston, who was a driving force behind the creation of Food Town was asked to leave its AGM in the Douglas Arms after speaking out on Tesco’s proposed superstore for Castle Douglas.
Mr Livingston made his intervention after the chairman’s report on the year, which he felt was so glaringly silent on the multinational’s plans that some kind of point had to be made.
He said: “I got up and said ‘but you have not mentioned Tesco!,’ but when I attempted to raise the issue and I was told to either sit down or get out.
