
A protest in Glasgow against racist deportations will have added anger & bitterness. The protest was called by school-friends & neighbours of the Vucaj family, imprisoned 2 weeks ago. This morning we learned the family had been deported.
Verdicts on the 28th of september 2005, 23th day of trial:
Jose Fernandez Delgado: 14 years
Gabriel Pombo da Silva: 13 years
Bart de Geeter: 3 years and 6 month
Begonia Pombo da Silva: 13 month on probation (3 years)
(in ca. 3 weeks will be a new decision if Bart will be released provisionally)

Yes, the corporate media actually mentioned the demonstration in DC which drew more than 100,000 protesters.......it's true. Their reports were generally about 15 seconds in length, and mentioned nothing about the impassioned call for impeachment by former US Attorney General Ramsey Clark or any of the other speakers at the Rally.
