Vladimir Putin says he's placing "energy security" at the top of the G8 agenda during Russia's presidency. The G8 countries consume 45% of world oil and produce 47% of global CO2 emissions. Their "energy security" is our energy grave!
A lawsuit filed in the USA accuses the Royal Bank of Scotland of being a conduit for terrorist funding because it bought NatWest who held accounts for InterPal, a London-based charity. InterPal is either a "specifically designated global terrorist" (according to the USA), an "unlawful organisation" (Israel) or a "non-political, non-profit making British charity that focuses solely on the provision of relief and development aid to the poor and needy of Palestine" (the group's website, backed up by the UK Charity Commission).
