Campaigners fighting the extension of the M74 motorway in Glasgow are to stage a sponsored race along the route of the planned link. Joint Action Against the M74 (Jam74) are trying to raise funding for a legal appeal against the motorway plan. A Jam74 spokesman said teams would use different forms of transport, including walking, cycling and sailing.
