Plane Stupid Scotland scaled the Scottish Parliament building today, in an early morning protest at Scottish Government plans to impose massive airport expansion by the back door. At 2pm the protesters voluntarily walked off the building, were arrested and taken to St. Leonards police station.

5 people blocked the main gate to arms-manufacturer Raytheon, shutting it down for 5 hours. All 5 were arrested and charged, but the charges were dropped by the Procurator Fiscal.

Raytheon Systems Ltd, (RSL) Glenrothes was targeted by activists this morning when 6 people peacefully locked onto the main gate. Other gates were locked as well, leaving Raytheon shut as the morning work shift arrived.
