Beekeepers report colony collapse,but Organic Honey Bees are doing well,though,,

Beekeepers report colony collapse,but 100O organic Honey Bees keepers in N.America say theirs are doing well.Farmers need to stop using pesticides,gm etc & go as organic as possible to keep pollinate of crops going & save soil structure from chemicals. Defra needs encouraging to support Organic honey bee keepers & we all need to keep nettles & other beefriendly plants asap otherwise crops could be severley effected Praise B for the Organic & natural Honey Bees!!!!!

Peaceful eco-campaigners persecuted by Police

Five members of the Edinburgh Clown Army (1) were detained and charged after a peaceful and humorous biofuels protest in Bruntsfield (2). They were charged with a breach of the peace on Wed 16th, despite eye witness accounts stating that they were peaceful and friendly. The Clowns were all treated badly, and one woman was singled out and intimidated by the police while she was in custody, and required medical attention as a result.

Economic Crisis in Iceland?

Not sure what to make of this. Report on economic troubles in Iceland, described as world-financial "canary in the coalmine". May be of interest to Saving Iceland campaigners, though it makes no mention of, e.g. the aluminium industry.
