A video has come to light of a Strathclyde police officer viciously beating a teenage boy in the early hours of Boxing Day. The police had been called to the house on Toryglen Road in Rutherglen, Glasgow, to break up a fight outside a Christmas party.

It would be funny if it would not be so sad at the same time: infighting in the German Left about the political position towards Israel and the USA resulted in a ban of our local well-loved and fun-plotting anarcho-band Oi Polloi in the Autonomous Centre in Freiburg, in Germany. After filling in a lenghty academic questionnaire and re-examining the band's position in a meeting last monday by the managers of the centre, the ban has been revoked.
