Of course it is the inevitable, looming oil crisis that awaits the US (because
of her thirst for oil) that has given this Administration the justification to
invade Iraq on the "pack of lies" (1. Honorable George Galloway) that came
out of this White House. That, although not justified in many people's minds,
is pretty much understood by the rank and file.
Alastair Darling, Westminster Transport Minister MP for somewhere in Edinburgh (IIRC) got a pie in the face on Tuesday. The action was in response to his endorsement and appearance at a cosy "Future Heathrow", pro airport expansion event at the CBI's HQ.
Sadly, no pictures exist of the event.

Work is under way on a five-mile wire mesh security fence around Gleneagles Hotel where the G8 summit will take place in July.
The cordon will be made up of about 10,000 panels aimed at preventing unauthorised access to the Perthshire hotel and its grounds.
THE PROCESS of erecting a ring of steel around Gleneagles Hotel and its grounds ahead of the G8 Summit got under way yesterday.
The Courier took the first pictures of work being carried out which will put in place a five-kilometre security fence around the hotel.
The fence, which will act as the outer cordon for the July summit, will be manned by uniformed police officers supported by rapid reaction units patrolling on a new road running around the inside of the fence.
There will be a G8 public meeting in Carlisle this Friday
