Glasgow G8 benefit party

More bands have confirmed they will play at the 'Section 60' party to raise money for people arrested during the G8 and the Saorsa Social Centre on Friday 30th September Zuba - a Glasgow based African band - and the Mosa Funk Club have both confirmed that they will be joining the long list of bands and dj's playing at the all night party in the warehouse used to accommodate hundreds of G8 protestors in Glasgow. "Zuba's Bassa Beat is grounded on a melody and percussion driven sound - interwoven vocal harmonies vie with contrapuntal guitar lines over a backdrop of simmering rhythmic tension. Worldbeat flavours, afrobeat influences and traditional folk-based lyrical tales are basic ingredients in Zuba's global melting pot."
