Sky News are saying that a statement claiming responsibility said:

"We are angry that rich people, like him, are paying themselves a huge amount of money, and living in luxury, while ordinary people are made unemployed, destitute and homeless.

"This is a crime. Bank bosses should be jailed. This is just the beginning."

The report also says that the Police are claiming they arrived within three minutes.

if by that they mean turning up 12 hours late, treating the victim like a criminal and then fucking off never to be seen again, i fully agree.

Amazing the high number of police who were sent to deal with what ammounts to a pretty small bit of vandalism at his house.   If only all crimes were treated with such a high priority!

Apparently according to Edinburgh evening news, Police are looking at links to anti-capatalist G20 groups.!!? Lol.. yes well it's all connected, obviously no one else would be pissed of at Fat cat Bankers who've had their fill for years, no angry small business men who've went bust or people evicted from their homes would possibly dream of any kind of retalliation would they!?. violent G20 groups are obviously responsible!! How they can classify them as violent yet when G20 is still to take place is anyones guess, but they don't miss a chance to help form public opinion , and defomation against what me and you would call protesters. fuck this totallitarian state, with it's serve and protect the rich and shit on the poor attitude, no wonder people are angry. This backlash against the banks was only to be expected after their apparent greed has left so many people jobless.

Would just like to add my tuppence worth, well done to those who did this. I think the fact that all the media outlets have disabled the comments sections on their websites with regards this story! The support there is for these actions show that people are pissed off.

One minor quible, I wouldn't be the internet persona that I am if I didn't quible, I don't want Fred jailed.

I want him and the rest of his stinking parasitic class to work of their debt to the rest of us, whether that be by cleaning the sewers or by giving free foot massages on Buchanan street for the rest of their days.

Police are there to control drunks and to protect power. The conviction of the top coppers in the holly and jessica case for having kiddie porn as well as the institutionalised racism 'revealed' by the steven lawrence case  are great reminders of how fundamentally corrupt their organisation is.
