Hello Indymedia Scotland,
I'm contacting you as part of a research project concerning the working practices of Indymedia journalists. I chose to research Indymedia because of the inclusive, interactive nature that Indymedia fosters and as an alternative media project, it's one of the largest.
The aim of the research is to find out the thinking of Indymedia journalists when they contribute copy for Indymedia.
I'm hoping that you will have time to fill in our 16 question survey, which will not take longer than five minutes to complete.
You will not be asked your name or any personal details. The research will not be widely distributed but available for you to see online.
The questionnaire is for those of you who contribute stories for Indymedia either on or offline.
Please follow this link to complete the survey: http://www.questionpro.com/akira/TakeSurvey?id=1217750
If you would prefer to complete the survey as a phone interview then e-mail me and I will phone when convenient.
Thank you so much for your time and thoughts. It is extremely appreciated as I'm aware that you are all busy with other things.
If you have any queries please do not hesitate to contact me on 07738 59 19 79 or nicoljcraig at hotmail.co.uk or 07014986 at live.napier.ac.uk
Many thanks,
Nicol J Craig

Get back to your journalism career and go make some dosh selling your soul to murdock or something.
No one should profit from Indymedia-thats the point of it. Career jounalists are incompatible with this basic philosophy.
THIS SITE IS FOR NEWS NOT 'RESEARCH'
Stick your survey up your arse.
