Bomb scare in Edinburgh?

Was there a bomb scare in Edinburgh on Saturday afternoon?

Around 5 o´clock, traffic around Tollcross was halted by the passage of a police car, sirens blazing, accompanying van marked "Bomb Disposal Unit". The two vehicles sped off up Bruntsfield Road. A fire engine left at the same time.

An exercise, or an alert? No idea and no pics either. But if something does happen, then you heard it here first :-)

The PSC lot were outside waitrose around there at 5ish. I spoke to one of them and she said the polis had been hassling them earlier in the day. Maybe someone confused their leaflets for a nuclear bomb.
