Connecting, Informing and Supporting Campaigners
Edinburgh Campaigning Workshop
15th January 2010
- Do you want to make your voice heard by people in power?
- Do you want to influence decisions made by the council, UK government, Scottish Parliament, the health service or other bodies that affect your community?
- Have you started to campaign for change and want advice on how to get to the next level?
If so, the Sheila McKechnie Foundation campaign workshop is for you.
The day will provide:
- Insight into the successful features of a campaign – what are the ‘keys to success’?
- Sessions on the key steps in planning and evaluating a campaign.
- An opportunity to consult experts such as experienced campaigners, MPs and journalists on how to put your theories into practice and what tactics have the most impact.
The campaign workshop is for individuals and voluntary organisations and will be held on Friday 15th January 2010, at The Melting Pot, 5 Rose Street, Edinburgh, EH2 2PR from 9.30 am- 4.30 pm.
