Huge numbers attended the March for an alternative in London. 32 carriages full, left Glasgow at 05:00 hrs from all walks of life, to attend this munumentous occasion. People from right across the country marched in London, calling for an alternative to government plans for fast, deep cuts to public spending. The protest went well with no trouble throughout the day. Hyde Park was an enjoyable experience, although we could have had bigger TV screens and possibly louder PA. Despite this, the samba and steal bands created a carival atmosphere.

Not sure when the next one is planned, hopefully we can break the million people protesting as these cuts affect everyone!
