Announcement of a public meeting about the government's ID card scheme and trial in Glasgow Friends. Just to announce there shall be a public meeting to provide information on David Blunkett's repressive ID card scheme and to build the campaign against this outrageous infringement upon our liberties, on the 20th of this month at the printworks social centre, 58 Albion Street in Glasgow. Thousands of leaflets (copy to follow shortly) have so far been distributed and the anti-ID card campaign meets this Thursday at 7PM in the printworks social centre to discuss the campaign, while information is being collected and stockpiled there for future use during the campaign. To get involved come along this Thursday or attend the meeting next week.
