"NATO out of Afghanistan" protest

About thirty people, amongst them a dozen cyclists, blockaded the main road to the NATO summit in Craigiehill this morning. There were no known arrests, but a heavy police presence including mounted police and dogs. The protest took place just beside the busy A90, the atmoshere was good, with some protesters bringing foods, music, banners and christmas beards suitable to the occasion. Weather was cold but pleasant and there was quite some press interest as well.

Re: "NATO out of Afghanistan" protest

The bosses press were sensored from reporting untill the last minute that the NATO meeting would be happening. This was because they knew that we would have closed the meeting down otherwise.
