A small but nonetheless significant group of people marched today in Edinburgh, demonstrating their solidarity for state violence expressed prominently in police brutality. The slogan, which still resonates in our minds is....

Last Sunday's solidarity & benefit gig for Greek activists was a success.

Solidarity/Benefit Gig for greek activists - Sunday the 18th @6pm in Forest Cafe, Edinburgh

Following a call of Greek students from the occupied Athens Polytechnic and Aristotle University of Thessalonica, 20th December was globally held as an International human solidarity day focusing on the condemnation of corruption and murders done by the state.

 The secretary of the Union of Housekeepers and Cleaners was attacked with sulfuric acid !

Since 8AM Greek workers have been occupying the headquarters of the GSEE (their equivalent of the TUC), declaring it a LIberated Workers' Zone.

They released this statement.
